here's the basic procedure, Aluminum polishing for n00bs. - MX6.com
you basically sand it till it's uber flat and smooth then polish to a mirror shine.


it's actually been polished now for 4 years I just added the gold foil today since I met up with KAX at the meet, he got it in o-town for me

actuall the top half of the shield has been done for a bit with that little I got off u Jon
