Default For Lancerman

I hate to bring up this sore topic but I just got back from my poker tournament...

by lancerman:
I think its amazing that you think because 4 of the 6 cars that dynoed didn't blow up that the other two shouldn't have either. Wow if every 1/3 car that got modded blew up every time they went on the dyno then there would be no such thing as dynos because no one would want to take their car with odds like that. Your logic makes no sense whatsoever. Why dont you be a man and post up that overloaded dyno video for all to see. Just because you got lucky and your car survived doesn't make it alright to dyno cars the wrong way.

Unbelievable you cant look at the charcoal spark plugs and see the mixture was nothing short of beautiful during all my so called running the piss out of the car. 1000 successful pulls on the street and 1 deadly pull on the dyno. Yeah it was bound to happen. What an idiot you are.

------------------------------------------------------------------

I just realized what car you drive. This is the very car that bobby drove on the dyno and brought the rpm to 3000. when the load was engaged the rpms went from 3000-0. He couldn't keep the car running there was so much load . Yeah the almight torque monster didn't have enough torque to even stay runinng. I hope that the video you will post.
About the video, here it is:

This is an 2004 STOCK STi

Not sure why you would challenge my manhood on posting my vids, other than the fact that my car didnt blow up...

And BTW, I'm surprised that you would stoop so low to even say that last quote of yours. Last time I recall, Bobby had the car on 4th gear (that's when I told him to do a 4th gear pull) and everybody with a decent amount of common sense knows that when that type of load is given to the car in 4th gear, its going to stall... Bobby just happen to catch it right away and didnt let it stall. So your comment about "torque monster" was out of place and simply ignorant.

Listen man, it seems to me that you are bitter of the fact that your car blew up on the dyno. You even said it that you have had "1000 street pulls" on your car... did you actually THINK your car is indestructable? Are you that BLIND that because you own a JDM EVO 1 that it will never break down? I dont care how much of an "expert" mechanic you are, even the best of them happen to blow up engines in much bigger (and sanctioned) sports than your street racing business. Maybe I need to bring up the owner of the blue evo (Carlos) back in here and refute some of your statements. The only one that has to "man up" here is you my friend... Its that simple and you know it.

Good Luck with your rebuild, honestly. I'm sure you are going to make one hell of a monster sleeper.

Not as long as going WOT racing other people for a longer period of time... Doing top speed runs is just as bad.

Yeah I wouldn't trust that kind of load on a dyno pull. Sounded like you were towing boat.

When Mark from TurboTrix did the tune, the dyno was on free load... It didnt do the load bearing action to the car.

As you can see from the vids:

the previous thread was locked. jerry (lancerman) and S&R are to handle this offsite. no need to start up a whole new thread after the other was locked. it will go down the same road.
