thought i would share
stopped by PDX while Tim was mocking up his new dually wastegated twin scroll setup-....dually?
TwinscrolledHS37R
Two Tial 38mm wastegates
Onto the porn:
the smaller inlet is from a Green

37 twin scoll hot side
40 inlet picture`d, soon to be 42 inlet.
what is really cool IMO, is that there will be 2 wastegates, one for each bank.
on the 37/40 Tim made 600whp with a simple Perrin manuel boost controller, with the Dtek i think he upped it a little more.

whered he get that turbo from?
this is a 700 dollar turbo, lol...
non ball bearing, weird flange on the exhaust side....
with the 42 inlet i would assume 650+ and he will probly run NOZ to spool it so we shall see....

twin scoll uses both banks of the engine to scoll the turbo, it keeps them seperate, thus utilizing them more efficiantly.
useing the dule exturnal waste gates on a suby has not been done befor, to my knowlege. so this is going to be pretty cutting edge right now.
