Default walbro 255 fuel pump

ok, saw a deal on the walbro 255 fuel pump, install kit, and a perrin crank pulley for 189 bucks today on importimageracing.com and was wondering if it made ANY sense for me to get this.

I was looking for a lightweight crank pulley for 100 bucks anyway and saw this deal.

would i have ANY performance gains by putting this into my stock 2.5gt?

Gains from a fuel pump or from the pulley? I know the fuel pump wont do anything for you, im not sure about the pulley.

But +1 for buying from Josh at import image though.

it was just a question of the fuel pump, i know i'll have minor gains from the pulley.

always better to ask than to sit back wondering what if...

also, when i've first started up my car, in the rear it sounds like a burbling sound coming from my rear end, sdounds like bubbles in the gas tank or something, i have no idea what it is, car is running beautifully and then the sound stops after maybe 10 seconds. any idea what this would be? a bad stock fuel pump? I'm running at 143,000 miles so....

fuel pump only helps you if the stock one cant flow enough for your needs which it can.

only reason i asked is that i've seen people say that the wrx's lean out in the top end, so i didn't know if it was a fuel system design flaw and a larger fuel pump would help compensate, but like they say, if it ain't broke....
