Still can't decide of either 6000K or 8000K HIDs??

 

do you want more color or more light? 6000k will put out more light and look more white, while the 8000ks will look a little more blue/purple

by the way I voted for 8000k, you would barely notice a difference in light but color you notice.

 

would either have any effect(melting) of the stock headlamps with the kit??

 

I have run 10000ks, and 8000ks before with no problems. I dont knwo what there is to melt?

 

6000k are $. I love my 6000k and it's just enough blue. My boyfriend has 4300k in his evo and I think the 6000k looks way better.

yo lil azn i ordered you a pair of the 6000k so you should get them in like a week or less.

 

I voted 6000k, but I prefer 4300. It may not look as cool, but its definitely more functional.

 

Anything over 6k looses effectiveness and is more for looks. The closer to true white it is, the better you will see. 4300-6k is ideal. 8k+ gets more into the blue and purple range which may look cool, but harder to see.
