Default First issue with the STI

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'll be taking it in to Subaru since it's obviously under warranty.

From the outside it sounds like a ringing noise, but in the engine bay it sounds like a hissing, maybe a vacuum leak. It only occurs at 800 RPM or less. I'm pretty sure it's some sort of leak, not so sure what's causing it. I guess I'll find out after I take it in for service.

On a lighter note, my car is finally broken in. Now I get to have some fun and see if it's faster than the 240.

Hmm, yeah its hard to describe whats wrong with your car on the internet. Maybe something is loose?? The people at Mastro are very friendly and I've never had one problem with them. Hopefully everything is ok with your baby.

I waited almost 2000 miles. This is how I broke it in... up to 1000 miles I did not go past 4k RPM and up to 2000 I did not go past 5k-6k RPM.

Yeah you really didn't have to go that drastic of a break in.

I looked into it and that's what I found. I'm sure it didn't hurt the car.
