Default stock sti clutch?

How much WHP can the stock STI clutch handle? Just wanted to get an idea?

depends on how you treat it...if you baby it it will be good but if you launch and get on your car a lot then not much dont know exact numbers but i have around 330-340 whp and mine slipped a few times but now its fine so im going to ge ta new one anyways to be safe also going with a fp green soon so ill need one then

Mine handled about 30 1.7 60fts at 45k miles on stock everything lol But yeah im no help i have no idea.

mine is handleing 313whp and 346 wtq.. miles are 11,000 and no slipage

I've seen a few GT35R STi's with stock clutches. Kingpin tuned one around 540AWHP and the clutch held up through the tuning, but I'm not sure how long it actually lasted at that level. Look around on NASIOC and I Club and see when people are having to replace theirs.

its good for about 400 awhp, after that you gonna fry it sooner or later...

i bought my car used with 36k and by 40 she needed a clutch BAD!! i think the previous owner was into 1/4 & 60', lol. but i love my new stage 2 exedy clutch and ACT flywheel

when i had my setup similar to yours, the clutch lasted about 3k in miles
