Take the manifold off before you drill!!!! If you plan on doing it yourself that is.

Ive also heard of many people tapping on the casting button on the drivers side manifold.

That casting button is precisely where to drill/tap. It's right under #4...

Correction... it will have lower readings. They won't be less accurate, just lower temperature readings.


I had my drill/tap done at the same time as a ceramic coat on the manifolds. I used the casting button on the driver's side as the approximate location.

yea, ive always heard 3. i think SS said 3 to me before. he made fun of me when i said it was in the dp.
