I have an 02 wrx and in the future I would like to invest in getting an JDM STI engine and transmission for my car. Does any one have any info like where could I to get a new JDM engine and tranny and mabey who I could talk to about it.

 

jdmspec4u over on nasioc would be a good place to start. he's a vendor based out of canada and his name is andre.

also iaperformance is another good one.

 

Garage Tuning gets JDM stuff all the time. I usually see smaller stuff, but im sure they get engines as well. Gruppe-S can too, but they are $$$

 

why the big interest in the JDM STI engine? For the money you are gonna spend on it you could get a built 2.0 or 2.5 from gruppe-s or others for cheaper. The tranny is worth the money if you can get a good price on it. if not id say go with a gearset like PPG. JDM is nice but think about the long term and what kind of bang for your buck you can get. just my .02 anyway.
