I'll say, this car launches alot easer than those FWD hondas I had. Talk about clutch control. I've made dozens of passes with them at Bradenton. I cant wait to lauch this STi. It is much easier to launch on the street. The thought has been simply launch as hard as I can without totally droping the clutch. I have read about broken axles on these cars.

BTW, I took on a Z06 last week on SR 60 on the way home. It wasn't pretty. Starting from 90mph, he walked away at about 3 feet per/second on me in 5th and 6th was worse. Oh well, had to try.

 

I say you will run low 13's until you get the hang of it Then maybe 12.8. I was pretty wasted that night Was it a C6 Z06?

 

It was a Z06... I've raced plenty of "C" s.

I've got the launch down. I just need to go test in now!
