Default Tein Basics vs. Megan Racing

I'm interested in getting coilovers for my 06 wrx. The two that I'm looking at are the Tein Basics and the Megan Racing. I've heard very good things about both, but the one bad thing I heard about the Megan's are the pillowball mounts make the ride very harsh. Is anyone running either of these? What are your opinions and are there any others you'd recommend in the same price range?

i love my megans. for the price and with pillowball mounts and 32 way dampening adj. you can't go wrong for comfort or a stiff ride. the build is comparable to some of the higher dollar coilovers i've seen. pillowball tops are very nice since you can spin them for a buttload of extra castor.

having had the flex's on previous cars and megans in another car. id so go with the megan its cheaper and unless your hard core into roadracing/auto-x you wont be able to tell the difference.

if it helps in your decision at all ill be getting the megan track series for my sti.

if i was you, i'd ditch both and go check out bc racing coilovers the new BR series...

i hear that bc makes quite a few of the more popular companies coilovers

with 46mm internals (53mm externals...larger than DMS) fixed cup design, and a bunch of other features...30 way adjustable, 1 year warranty, all the other stuff...its a better value, more for your $.
