just wondering but if i got new cams would i have to change any internals and what would the gains be

 

that's like asking "if i bought a new turbo, what would the gains be?" it's very open ended. it depends on the cams. as far as internal work to really maximize them at least a port and polish would be a good step. as far as the block it all depends every thing else.

 

i was told that cams werent worth it cause you only gain a little hp.. i was thinking about the jun 264s hear anything on them?

 

IMO: the cost/labor doesnt justify the gain. As far as I know, JUN doesnt even make AVCS cams for the USDM EJ257. I know Cosworth does have a set that retails right around $1K
