what weight and brand oil do u run and how many miles r on ur scooby

 

Mobil 1 - 10w30 on a stock motor (w/20g) with 138k miles. Never had problems with leaks or having to top off every week.

 

castrol full synthetic 10/30 in the winter and either 10/40 or 10/50 in the summer and i have 71,000 miles.

 

50k I use mobile 1 5-30 or Q of the same weight.

 

royal purple syn, 5-30, 61k, 03 wrx

 

I use 5w-30 Royal Purple and i have 53,xxx miles,04 STi.

Mobil 1 synthetic 5w-30 since the car was new and now has 25k

 

Sent several samples of different synthetics to Bobtheoilguy....

Bottom line..... I have been running the Pennzoil Platinum since the 4th oil change & have never looked back. It's also a steal @ under 20.00 for a 5Qt container @ WalMart

I change it @ 4k.....10w30
