some updates on my car..

havent really posted much about my car in awhile. i made a couple changes over the last week couple weeks.
got a Tial BOV installed by Sam at Coastal Dyno. This thing is huge and sounds wicked. Sam did an awesome job doing the welding work. car was done on time and cant beat the prices. i got it in silver to match the intercooler piping. ill have to get some pics of it up. he also cleaned my air filter for me too
i have been having a problem for while now with random misfire codes for cylinder #3 and #4 and a bad stumble between 2500-3000rpms. changed the plugs and coil packs and didnt fix anything, had the timing checked and nothing. only thing left was the injectors. PDX kindly sent me out 2 new injectors to replace them. me and ken (fat angel) installed them the other night. got a scare though, the injectors didnt match the ones in my car!! the tips were completly different. couldnt get ahold of PDX. spoke to Mr. Siegel and told us they should be fine. finished up the install and car runs great, so smooth
went to pick up Ken's payment and got on it just barely and Ken commented on how he could feel the power the car had. i only hit about 4.5psi
big thanks to Ken and his help :thumb:. it was the smoothest install i have ever had with this car. stumble GONE, cels GONE!!!
next traded my invidia exhaust to manny for the TXS exhaust with the 4" dp. had to be the hardest install of an exhaust ever. everything that could go wrong did. the TXS will take some time to get used to, i miss the rumble of that invidia. the good thing with the exhaust not too loud, you can really hear that turbo spool up
manny heard it coming down the road when the wife took it for a ride.
also found a bad boost leak on the car. boost is perfect now. the car drives like its stock. so smooth and the acceleration literally hurts. its a choking feeling on your chest. the cold weather is making it even more fun. boost is back to a 1.85bar (27.1psi) and holding to almost redline. 4th gear is just nasty. now that the HULK is running better than it ever has, id like to hit the track soon. i have to get some tires first. i want my times to be in the 11s with a trap of at least 120mph. those have been my goals since the day i got the car. i think im close with this setup. SS has drove it many times and tells me its in there. he guessed mid 11s@122-123mph. i hope hes right
next i will heatwrap that monster dp and cut my heatshield up to make it fit.
