Horrible! I do not understand the fascination with hatchbacks. I guess its a European thing.

 

well, i remember when the new wrxs were coming out with the tribeca front end. people said they hated it, now it looks pretty good. even better in person. maybe the hatch will grow on people too

 

hopefully its just a new car to the subaru lineup and not the actualy impreza wrx.

reminds me of the Audi A3. I don't mind hatchbacks so much, esp. 5-doors. but that is a COMPLETELY different direction they're going in (if it's the real thing), and I can't think why they'd make that big a change.

 

I'd take an STI that looked like that over an 04/05. But they are still way off where they should be.

My guess is with the absolute failure of the Impreza WRC this and last year, they've decided to make a hatchback version in an attempt to follow citreons and fords smaller, more agile platform. hopefully for petter's sake, it works.

 

first i would bet that its not a hatch but a base for the new wagon. do away and make a hatch which are by far more popular worldwide. Second if you look at about half the cars competing in WRC they are hatches, not saying that i like it but it doesnt get more rally inspired than that. Subaru needs to quit fucking around and make a new WRX/STI 2 door and be done with the bullshit. just my .02

 

i kinda like it. the front looks better than the 06's to me. i'd be interested to see what a sedan looks like.
