I made a post in the road race/aut-x section about this, but there is a NASA HPDE track day oct 14-15 that I will be going to. Anyone else interested?

Depends on which category your are in and if you do one day or two. If you have not done and HPDE before or have good track experience, you will be in HPDE1 which is a great learning experience. The can teach you a lot.

1 day (either) HPDE2-4 - $249
2 day HPDE2-4 - $369
1 day HPDE1 - $289 inludes instructor

There is not discount for 2 day HPDE1

Yes, it is worth the money if you are into this sort of thing. The HPDE1 is almost like drving school and you learn a lot. As for track time, people often do not finish sessions and i will probably skip a session as you get more than enough usually. The one day prices seem a bit high, but its expensive to rent sebring. Other tracks are cheaper. Unfortunetly, there are not really any other good tracks in florida though. So unless you want to go up to Road Atlanta or Roebling Road, this is it for nice road courses.
