How long do stock struts last?
I'm also thinking I need new struts soon. I have an 03 with 66,000 on it and was wondering when to replace them and what is a good replacement that won't break the bank?

They are probably gone, mine were at that milage. I found a used set of Sti struts with relatively low miles from a 2004 for $100. you could always get a set of KYB GB-2's off ebay for I think under $250

I forgot to add when I removed mine they had very little dampening/pressure I can easily modulate then in my hands with little effort. The STi stuts on the other hand gave me a hernia

well im just gettin a lot of squeaking since i put springs on so i figured with the mileage i might need to replace the struts soon. otherwise it may be my sway bars links or something im not sure.
