Question Which Brake Pads are Best?

I need new pads and wanted to get some opinions on which ones are best. I have drilled and slotted rotors and need some decent pads that last awhile. Also which compond is best for those rotors? ceramic, semi-metalic?

Depends greatly on your needs. Some questions to answer:

Do you do track/autox? If so, what, how often, and how seriously?
Do you mind dust or looking for one with less dust then stock?
If all street, do you value low dust on long lasting over performance?
What are you willing to spend?

There are litterally hundreds of pads that could be good. I personally use a Hawk HP+. It has a bad dust issue, but it works better than stock on the street and can hold up to a road course decently. It is however not good enough for serious tracking, but they dont eat rotors. They are also fairly epensive.

For a street only pad, I liked the Project Mu street and the EBC green. Track compounds used on the street will eat up rotors

HAWK HPS over here. It's been over a week and my wheels still look clean! hahahaha

$169 got me, both, front and rear shipped. That's cheaper than the GroupBuy for my car.
