Default Fumoto Oil Drain Valve

I know I mentioned this to a couple people at the QSL/Channelside meet. It replaces your stock oil drain plug with a valve so that you don't have to remove the stock plug and get hot oil running down your arm. There's also a valve that has a nipple on it so you can attach a hose to drain the oil straight into whatever container you want, no splashing. I got the regular one (probably going to switch to the nippled one though), put it on at my last oil change and haven't had any problems yet. Getting ready to change my oil here in the next week or two. I think it's only like $30, check it out...

I've had one for 5 years now, it's a great investment. Makes changing the oil in a subaru even quicker and easier than it already is...

I have one on the FXT and just ordered one for the LGT. I got the 1st one when Fumoto had discount codes that worked(they don't anymore)
So I ordered the 2nd one from lubricationspecialists.com for $23.95 shipped and it only took 3days to arrive.
FWIW:the non-nipple Subaru part# is F-105

No, it has a very tight spring and a catch that has to be overcome. Definately not something that is gonna open on its own.

I couldnt see myself buying one of these. My car is already low to the ground one bump going 35 and the thing will blow right off and then I wont even know till the oil light comes on. I think Ill just save myself a extra 5 mins and drain it myself.
