painted the bbs stockers today. got sick of the gold and needed a change. i'm very happy with the results. let me know what you guys think.

i'll take better pics when i get a chance to wash and wax her. she's dirty now.

They look nice, i would never trust myself with expensive wheels under a rattlecan.

 

yeah, it was definitely scary. the only thing that made me keep going was knowing that i will be getting new wheels in a few months and these will end up being autocross specials. so if i f'ed up no big deal. btw, the first try was not pretty, had to strip them and start over.

Im gonna take a guess and say he used the duplicolor graphite wheel paint.

 

you guessed correct. you can get it at any autozone or discount auto parts.
there's a thread on iwsti in the wheels and tires forum about it. a guy with a black sti did it and it looked great so i thought i'd give it a go.

 

Yup i did my stockers then my rotas, but then went flat black with the rotas.
