Default engine cleaning/detailing around here??

i hate seeing dirt under my hood and im a freak about my car being clean. anyone know of a good place that cleans engines and details? prices??
or whats the best product to use to do it myself?

to do it yourself: simple green works really well to get most of the dirt and grime. for shining i like the meguirs nxt (or whatever it's called) protectant.

my brother has a mobile detailing business. but mainly just works in brandon/riverview area, not sure if you stay out in that direction. pm me if you want his number.

DIY.....If it's convenient for you I could meet you @ the Winghouse on 301 & give you a few pointers.
Back in the day I was a full time detailer from HS through college

I'm so anal avout the engine compartment it get's wiped down weekly

That simple green is really not good for aluminum, it's not going to hurt anything but if you have anything polished aluminum get ready to polish it again...

Pff...my car isn't a show car so it doesn't matter. If it does, I'll just wipe it down with Mother's Chrome and Aluminum Polish.

I use Simple Green to help break down brake dust, dead bugs, engine bay, etc etc

Take it to Waxin Willy's on Missouri/Gulf To Bay. They did my engine bay for 30.00 and it looked amazing.
