Probably overkill, I would just stick with EcuTEK or UTEC.

the only reason i was trying to go with the AEM is because i have a local shop that can always fix the tune if there is a problem or if i do an upgrade they can retune it for me. where as if i got a ecutek or cobb protune by scott seigal and something went wrong, i would have to wait til the next time he came down. and this is my daily driver. i am stage 2 at the moment and saving up for 6 speed tranny swap, and 2.5lt shortblock with a bigger turbo (havent decided which yet). for everyone that has an STi, is it worth just to sell my 02 and get an STi since it already comes with 2.5ltr engine and 6 speed tranny?

thanks

I would just sell the car and get a used STi. Lots of $ saved and less problems.
