Default Looking for a backyard Suby mechanic...

Contemplating the purchase of a pretty heavily modded 04 STI w/ a bad shortblock. Unfortunately, my mechanical experience is pretty much limited to Hondas/Acuras. Anyone on here interested in drinking beer, making some money reinstalling some factory parts (turbo/manifold/uppipe/downpipe) and throwing a new short block into an STI?

I will know for sure if I am getting it in the next day or two. I am trying to get him to confirm if the heads are still ok before I sink the money into it. If I decide to get it, it should be here in 1-2 weeks, and then another 1-2 weeks will be needed to get the new shortblock/misc. parts. Essentially I am still 2-4 weeks out, but I just wanted to make sure I could count on a local Suby enthusiast as opposed to having to take it to a dealer.
