I have the GFB, the throw is pretty good, its also 3 way adjustable...
But now that its been in for about 20K miles... there is a lot of play in the shifter when the car is in a gear... i dont know if thats normal... but its very annoying... i now miss shifting into 3rd at times.

awesome man, welcome to the dark side.
i would recomend the Kartboy with all the bushings. the cable on the install can be a pain in the butt, but there is a trick to it. it is really easy to do the install if you have a lift. i think you have a freind that has a shop.
also get a set of plyers like these.
there is a ring that holds the ball of the shifter in a plastic thingy. you will see. it helps to have these plyers. as well as a really long needle nose for the cable on the tranny.
if you have any issues james give me a buzz, i have done 5 of em
