Got an 02 WRX and am wanting to get some more power out of it. Already have full exhaust and DP. I was think about uping the boost. But whats my cutoff for the stock setup? I was also going to get intake. Can you guys advise any other worthwhile mods?

 

the stock intake works fine up to 300whp. maybe a upgraded filter.

have you done any handling mods yet? you will be faster if you can go around the corners better

 

Ok...Reoinstalled a system and am finding there seems to be a lot of hack work done. Opened up the ecu and found that it says its a turbo XS. But the wiring harness is hacked to hell. It has all sorts of electrical tape and splicing and just looks like a rats nest....This doesnt make any sense for it to look like this. Any ideas what i should do.

Also my shifter popped out of the little coupler it sits in....Where can I find the retainer piece for it?

 

could you take a picture of said ecu? this is a little cunfusing.

the ball at the bottom popped out? what type of shifter? that should not come out without alot of force.

 

Yes the ball at the bottom popped out on a shift from second to third and now it just doesnt stay seated down in there.

I will post up pics of the ecu when i get a chance....

 

you need a new clip that goes round the white plastic peice that holds the ball in place. is it an aftermarket shifter?


it seems you have a UTEC. it is a piggy back, not a stand alone unit, your ECU should still be there.
