New Carbon Fiber hood
I just put a carbon fiber hood on my car today. i noticed that i could not put the hood scoop splitter thing( the thing that makes the air go directly to the hood, comes wiht the car stock) because there was no holes for me to bolt it on. is it fine to not have that?

i have a CF hood and i drilled all the holes for my hood. i drilled the holes for the splitter and the heat shield. u really want to put the heat shield back on the hood because it will discolor the hood in time

ok thanks. yes i do have a top mount.
are you talking about the phome stuff under the stock hood that keeps the sound down?
anyone know if i really need that as well.
