Default My new light bar..

Well my friend Chris and I spent all saturday fabricating a light bar fro my WRX so I could mount my new Hella rally lights. I painted the bar gloss black and ran all the wires for lights.

The bar it self only took about 15 minutes, the wiring for the lights was a diffrent story

Here are the pics, let me know what you think.

Here it is mounted to my car with my Hella lights attached.

This is with regular lights on and hella's on.

Interior toggle switch for lights.

Here is the license plate mount

Bottom of front bumper mounting.

I still have to put another layer of paint and clearcoat on then it will be done.

We are thinking about making them and selling them on some of teh local subaru sites. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks,

Mike

Clean install. Seems like itd be pretty easy to remove if needed also. How difficult was the wiring?

***Off topic question: Does your Prodrive shiftknob get hot when you leave the car in the sun? I like that style, but the one I have now burns me up when I get in the car after work. I feel like Joe Pesci grabbing the doorknob in Home Alone when I go to shift gears.

Yeah it is very easy to remove, that also why I put the security torx bolts on so someone couldnt steal it. The wiring wasnt that bad its just making it look clean and neat.

About the shifter, yeah mine gets hot. I have found that I have to point the AC vent down on it LOL
