well I know there is help online--but I wanted to do it locally, especially to be able to meet some suby family and get to know some people.

i have never installed horns before but it cant be to different from wiring radios, intercooler sprayers, speakers, gauges, lights, which i have done all of the above. so if you guys need some help i can try and help you. all you probably need is some good stranded wire, connectors, a crimping tool, and some electrical tape. then just use the existing horn wire harness to branch out to the new horns.

I don't think there is enough of us to do that. But my offer still stands...I just bought mine from Rallylights.com and should be here sometime this week...

I installed the supertones yesterday...Using the minimum tools I managed to get them working quickly. Installation is easy--the part that took the longest was gathering the electrical connectors, cutting and crimping.

I ghetto'd mine up by not having heat shrinks or dielectric grease--but I will be doing weather-proofing back home(key west) tomorrow where I have the tools to do so.

I went the easy way using the 'signal' from the stock horn. Write here or PM me if you want to hook yours up!!!

basic materials include (to just get it working):

7ft of 14 gauge wire
9 or 10 FEMALE disconnects (buy 2-6 packs in case a crimp goes bad)
1 male disconnect
4 ring terminals (2 horn ground, 1 relay ground, 1 power)
1 3-way ring terminal

weatherproofing:
heat shrings
dielectric grease

of course you'll need other stuff(usually people have these) like wire crimps/cutter/stripper, a heat gun.

If you want to get crafty and mount them in an unusual place you'll need a drill/bits and bolts to secure them...

Its a simple installation if you know how to strip wires and put connectors on them. There are 4 prongs on the relay. One goes to the positive battery terminal, one goes to the chassis ground, one goes to the horns as a positive connection, and one goes to the horns as a negative ground (also to chassis ground). Throw in a 20 amp fuse to be safe, and you are on your way.

If anyone wants these horns installed, contact me through PM.
