I'm running one of these on my WRX. I thought it added some better throttle response and probably did help with spool-up. The only thing you may want to be careful of is that I hear they can suck flat from the intake vacuum when running at high boost levels. I've heard some rumblings like they have fixed it, but you may want to contact Perrin yourself for a confirmation.

Yes, it was a bitch to install too. I also have the Perrin MAF hose, but I doubt you're running the stock airbox.

Scott says he can do it, so now I just need to finalize the list of parts and see if I can get it installed in time and where ... I'm really bad working on cars, so doing it myself is not an option even knowing faded said he did all his in one day

Looks like I got everything figured out and will be getting the green (I read someone's post at IWSTi sayin he could not stand the "lag" on the green and got the SZ55

Now just debating on the following:

Perrin FMIC (wondering if painting it black will not be good for performance? might have it coated somewhere any ideas?) or just get the APS 525 ?

Doing Alky Control on 05/27 / Injectors ... whats the best deal on the Nismos?

Can't wait - Looks like it will finally happen
