For all off u who have an aftermarket header, Have you ever heard an echo coming from the header. I have a Greedy header and from 2k to 2.5k it makes a rattle noise and then its goes away, I been under the car and nothing is lose so i cant figure it out, I thought it was coming from my heads but its not. Its coming from the header, i need help. Thanks Alex

 

hmm... i hear something when i first start my car up kinda sounds like an odd rattle. i know mines tight, but it makes this weird exhaust note. not sure about when i'm driving it though. i do get some odd noises but nothing that i've really been concerned about.

edit: also why i'm going back to stock headers with an uppipe. now i just need to find an uppipe.

 

i have a aftermarket header/uppipe in one piece it rattles off the frame probably the same thing. sounds like it only like early rpm's

 

yeah i figured it was something dum like that, what im prob gonna do is wrap it with exhaust wrap and see if its helps

 

i have some high temp ceramic coating. you just need a spray gun and a sand blaster. you can get them form a harbor freight for cheap. you can have what i have left, which is more than enough to do a header. thatcoating is really nice and easy to do.

 

exactly what u need boosted cause mine only rattled for a little bit something like 5 days then stopped i have the same sort of wrap.

Mine use to rattle off hte frame too. Not any more. Cut a little off and no more rattles.

 

weverb exactly what i had to do still rattled like said for like five days rubbed a mark and no more rubbing!!!!!!!
