Default Sedan v. Wagon

my new to Subaru and was wondering what is the major differences mechanically such as suspension parts and engines parts that were majorly different on the wrx?

also im thinking about purchasing a used wrx and was wondering where some good dealers would be or a good place to find a used but not abused wrx.

in no way do i plan on buying a moded one.
any tips on what to look for in buying a used wrx would greatly help.

The wagon has a smaller rear sway bar. It is mostly identical to the sedan except for the exterior cues. You are not compromising at all from getting the wagon mechanically.

I'm not so sure about the 06 wagons, but the earlier versions had a smaller front track (width between the front wheels), different front fenders, smaller rear sway, and slightly stiffer rear springs to handle the extra weight in the rear. In terms of engine or brakes, no difference.

im thinking about autoxing after i get acclimated to the car and so is there any drawbacks to the wagon. would the smaller front track as stated above or the added weight in the back make any noticed difference.

rear sway bar is 2mm thinner, front fender is 3/4 of an inch narrower but the wheel base is the same, wagon has a rear window wiper....

i would look at buying a used one from a older woman.

i had a wagon and loved it. sways, springs, struts, and a couple engine mods and some good tires your set.

I've driven a Cobb Stage II modded wagon that is very similar to where my car is right now (minus the struts/springs) and the back end was a little bit looser on throttle off. If the sway was at 20mm or 22mm rather than the 24 it was at, it would have handled better. Other than that, not much difference on the gravel

The wagon owner really did like my suspension, though
