Default 06 Sti

Hello all. Bought a 06 STI on Friday. Any local shops in Tampa for Cobb AP Pro tuning post break-in period?

Any thoughts about oil catch cans? Are they a worth while addition?

i'd hold off on the protune until i got past the stage 2 portion. get an exhaust first then go from there. the cobb shelf maps are good till then.

edit: a catch can is a good addition to any suby. it wont make any changes in anything other than an oil buildup in the ic.

1st Subie. I had an A4 Quattro Turbo that was totaled in Jan by someone driving on the wrong side of the road.

I am on a WorxTuning test program for their suspension parts.(Springs and Sways)
I had installed a Billstein PSS9 on my A4. I like the stock setup on the STI so far.

Goals... I would like to have over 300hp at the wheels. Just looking around at aftermarket sites I am thinking the Cobb Stage2 with an APS CAI or Worx CAI.

FYI

the WORX~Tuning guy is a flake. he is a complete hit or miss. very inconsistant. Hope it works out for you.

300whp is very easy to obtain in a STI.

reflash and turbo back from PDXTuning will give you that on a low reading mustang dyno

Stage 3 prices

EcuTek Reflash$799.99Perrin Short Ram Intake$189.99Perrin 3" Turboback Exhaust$1,039.98Perrin 816cc Injectors$639.99Totals$2,669.95
