In the thread from NASIOC they have some pictures of the road + the tree. They were reposed on IWSTI (link to thread post).
I'm not going to get all high-and-mighty, like some people in other threads I've seen about this, and pretend I've never stretched the car's legs on back roads. But please, keep your head about you. Scout out the area first, or just don't do it. Know the car's limits.
Some of those people are assholes, saying he got what he deserved. We don't know the circumstances of the wreck, most important of which, did he know the road had a hump in it. If not, its perfectly resonable to expect that it caught him by surprise. If so, and he still tried to jump it, well, then he paid the ultimate price. Either way, he might not have known the limits of his car. Not a good way to find them out, IMO.
RIP.

damn! sorry for that guy. what pisses me off the most is that all the people on that site seem to be an asshole about the whole thing. they should think twice b/c i dont think really any car, or person, could have survived that. Yes, bad, judgement, but no, you should feel slighty sorry for a death and not be a dick about it. sorry for that man. rip.
