Well, it finally happened, my first Accident.

In the middle of traffic on a one-lane highway, an old lady decides she's going to dart out and try to make a left hand turn. I stand on my brakes and turn the wheel to the left to avoid her, but she just keeps accelerating and I clip the fornt of her Buick LeSabre. If she would have stopped, I would have gone right around her, but she "didn't see me." THERE WERE 50 CARS IN FRONT OF AND BEHIND ME!! THERE WAS VERY HEAVY TRAFFIC!!

Anyway, neither of our airbags went off and we were both ok. She got a citation.

My dad estimated about $4000 damage to my car so far, which includes everything you can see in the pictures, plus some suspension damage, the steering wheel is turned to the right when driving straight. We'll see what else is wrong as time progresses.

Eric, my jaw hit the floor when I saw this thread Sorry to here that man, have faith in your insurance ........they should take care of you. I am in PR right now, if not I would come see the car. I will call you if my phone gets service or when I get back in town

 

You can pick the repair shop that completes the work. I personally would choose Subaru for the mechanical work and whoever they reccomend for the body work

 

Damn bro that sucks . At least you weren't injured and hope the insurance company will take car of you. I would take some x-rays of your spine and make sure your okay. My cousin got hit from the back of his car at about 15mph and somehow fractured his vertebrae, now he is getting mucho money. My uncle is a chiropractor and deals with PI cases as well
