they are still goin to cover you under warranty even though you have the exhaust and up pipe, i was told when i first got my car that even something minor like a bov voids that warranty. thats sweet taht they are covering it though, you should get the sti shortblock.

I have been told the dealers dont really care about exhaust, but the stock was on when the car started to fuck up. The blow off valve was recirculating like stock. Also having the part on your car does not void your warranty unless the part caused the problem. If it did cause the problem they have to prove it.

Last I checked they were taking pictures of the oil leak and sending it to the Subaru rep since he will not be there to see it in person for another 2 weeks, Hopefully they will be replacing the whole shortblock.

Update:

New shortblock and turbo, fully covered by the warranty.

Cool! Did you ask them if you could pay the diff to upgrade said short block and turbo?
