Default Fuel lines

So my fuel lines are almost completely rotten. Not sure what happened, but 1.5 years after install, they're in absolutely horrible shape...particularly on the passenger's side. Has anyone tackled this job before? It looks to be pretty simple on the driver's side, as they're plenty of room to work with the windshield washer reservoir removed, but the passenger's side run right under the manifold and intake to the turbo inlet. Anyone have an easier way than removing that section of the intake? Looks to be a bitch, but I have to get these lines swapped ASAP and would like to get it done myself, to save a little $$$.

This all in a 2L car running MRT rails.

Anyone?

i've done it twice...once to parallel (Vishnu) and then back.

Couldn't do it w/out removing the manifold, but it's not an entirely hard job, and it looks nice when you're done.

I'm not sure it's about 100% necessary as i've seen a few 10 sec rex's with stock rails, but better safe than sorry I guess.

Yeah, my car is basically in the same power range Billy's was. The rails ultimately proved unnecessary, but at the time, everyone was screaming that you needed rails if you were going to get near 300whp.

The next motor gets SS lines and all the goodies. Just want to make sure this motor stays alive for another year.

Incidentally, I STILL haven't swapped the lines. I'm just too damn busy and/or lazy. 2Turbo, wanna make a few bucks?

At this point, I'm tempted brother! My dad and I are going to try to tackle it Sunday. If that fails, you may be getting a phone call.

Update: They are in the car!! After hours of fucking around, we got them in WITHOUT removing the manifold and dealing with that nightmare. Did have to take off a couple of bits, but all of the deteriorated lines have been swapped, the car ran fine at idle and on boost. Dad leant an invaluable hand and things seem to have turned out well. I am currently stoked and looking forward to my coil-over and speaker replacements, both of which should happen before month's end.
