Just made my first purchases for the STI.
Ordered:
Big Whiteline sways for the front and rear. I havn't gotten endlinks yet and I am open to suggestions.
Kartboy lever and the front and rear stay bushings. No linkage bushings yet for 06 I'm told.
Ohlins coilovers.
DMS camber plates.
Ecutek licence with mail in tune until I get my friend to come down soon after to tune it for me.
Mad DADV2 downpipe.
Fujitsubo power getter exhaust. nice and quite for the kids.
And a MCI short shifter for me to tryout and write a little story on it. This is made by the same person that does all the DMS suspension fabrication for North America. Free is for me so... Double adjustable, well see.
Thats it so far. The next thing I'd like to get is into some driving schools for road racing. Would anyone else be interested?
How am I doing so far?lol

Lots of nice parts, you'll enjoy it. I'd suggest doing one suspension change at a time (install sway bars at another time). That way you learn more about your car's handling characteristics.
Does the Tampa subie community do parts install days?

I was a VW tech for 6 years and before that I built performance VWs so I have alot of tools. But I live in an apt. If someone wanted to do something I/we could do it but it would have to be daylight. My sways should be here soon, a couple of weeks before the coilovers so I'll do those first at my shop. Probably do a nice allignment as well. Then redo it when I get the coilovers. I got such a good deal on the stuff I figured I might as well get it but truth be tod I love this car as it sits so far. Just 2 to 3 shift needs improvement and the car is so damn high.
