no you dont have to secure the motor at all. subarus rumble side to side, not so much up and down. almost all who have done it say it wasnt needed. i'd do the tranny and motor mounts first, big difference.

if you're really worried about it, i'll fill your tranny mount with urethane when i get down there, and then tell me it is uncomfortable.
