Congrats!

I went to court yeterday because I was arrested at the Hard Rock Casino. ALL CHARGES DROPPED.

I was a witness for something that happened. She arrested me for talking on my cell phone.

She was def. on a power trip

 

yeah im not saying police are always right, but about 98% of the time people get pulled over, its for doing something wrong. but dont bash all law enforcement because of one idiot. i dont care what anyone says, the world would suck without them, and i hate when people say stupid things.

I would definitely say that about 60% of the time people get pulled over, it's for doing something minorly wrong (and mostly excusable). 25% is bullshit tint laws, 8% is a cop on a powertrip, and 7% doing something seriously wrong.

you guys must have some bad luck with cops. i think if you are doing 5-10 over the speed limit, you should be fine. every cop i've spoken with have told me they never bother to pull someone over until after 10mph over. window tint is kind of stupid to be pulled over for. Other then going just a little over the speed limit, and maybe not using a turn signal, what are excusable? People that do the rolling stop usually arent paying attention. I would ticket a bitch for doing that too lol. And you really think 25% of tickets are for tint?

I got rear ended saturday. I slammed on the brakes because this guy was tailing me. He got a $285 ticket. it was great. I hate tailgaters the most.

 

Well, lets look at my math


I believe that 60% of the time tickets are written for minor infractions. I'd say that 67% of that overall 60% are excusable (meaning tickets are 40.2% excusable overall). It would seem that this 60% overall is made up mostly of minor speeding violations (2-6mph over, which I have been pulled over for too many times), turn signal violations, aggressive driving maneuvers, seatbelts, etc.

...And as far as the cop saying that he didn't pull people over unless they were going 10 over... I never admitted to a cop that I speed sometimes, either

 

man, every cop i talk to i tell them i do 5-10 over. so do they lol. im just a lucky person i guess. school zones are different.

I have had a bad experience with a liar with a badge before, I refuse to even call that asshole a cop. I will be courteous to a cop if he is the same to me, but some of these police are downright disrespectful. I respect hard working cops though, it is a tough job.
