heatwrap intercooler piping?

Most ppl just wrap the piping with rotated mount turbos, b/c the turbo sits right on the intake inlet of the fmic. Stock mount turbos can just use a aftermarket shield. tho wrapping the hot side would not hurt.

reflect the heat, dont trap it in.....
get the stick on heatshield stuff and do the area around the turbo with it (also, a heatshield w/ the stuff lining it is a must, too....
i also have the thermotec turbo blanket & the top 1/2 of my DP wrapped, and it works extremely well. very little radiation of temps.....
ps- trim the stocker, or the cusco and it fits fine (not hard to do)

heat film comes in all styles and prices...
11 dollars a sqaure foot or 20 bucks for a 200 foor role of 4 inch wide. just depends on what you are trying to do. form over funtion? looks? what will work the best.
all of the PDXTuning kits for the rotataed set ups have heat wrapped down pipes, and the intercooler peices befor the throttle body and after the intercooler are wrapped in some nice reflective film
