Default Where to go
Finally ordered a Perrin downpipe now I just need to know on where to go to get this thing put in or if someone wants to do it I can give them cash/whatever? I dont have the right tools and dont want to mess anything up

meh, ive had the same one thru 2 downpipes. they last awhile wish i was there though to help you.

its a very simple install. 5 bolts on the turbo, 2 bolts connecting the dp to midpipe, and 1 bolt bracing the exhaust on that bracket.

you can replace the gaskets to be safe. $10 for the gas
ket.

exactly....

the time spent to re-remove the DP to replace a cheapie gasket isnt worth the insurance spent.....

some corners arent worth cutting, IMO (replaced mine with 2300 miles on it when i swapped out)

exhaust leaks (turbine esp.) suck.

i guess i take mine apart too much to be replacing that gasket every time.

i replace mine after using it 2 times. so every other time i take the dp off i replace the gasket

i meant ive been through 2 downpipes, taken it off i dont know how many

but still a good thing to replace.

maybe, doesnt happen on all cars. you prob will but just wait to make sure you need it
