ive read the info and ive been told how to do the take offs. Im still not getting them down. Tonight, i got a little pissed off because i lost to an evo because of my take off. now, i have a name for myself, "hey, thats the guy that lost to the evo..." YEA I DON'T LIKE THAT. So if anyone is willing to show me how in their sti, it would be much appreciated. Look, ive only taken off about 7 or 8 times now. I just dont do it enough and i know that could be the cause. But, yea, i just need someone to give a buddy a little help. MAN, i hate that clutch burn smell.

same here, ill show you. but my technique is keep blipping the throttle from 5000 to 5500 rpm. Slip the clutch on the last blip and prepare for a quick 1st -> 2nd shift.

The best advice I ever heard was "Let the clutch out like you stepped in dog shit".
