Knock at idle? I get a quick rattle when I start my car.

It was a knock at idle, not rattle, knock like I'd do on your front door. Like said it got louder and faster w/ rpm's. It wasn't the normal WRX engine noise...

Once torn down, #1 bearing was slipped and the others were noticeably worn w/ metal throughout the oil and turbo.

Fixed now and she runs like a champ

The only thing I can really remember being noticeable was it not boosting real well. It seemed to drag, which would go along with the siezed turbo and metal particles. Otherwise I can't say I noticed a big difference because as soon as I heard the audible knock I parked it and got it on a flatbed to Mastro.
