Smaller IC on 06?

I was checking out the Subarus at the Tampa Auto show yesterday and noticed that the 06 WRX intercooler looks smaller than previous years, Is it true?

i think its longer(side to side) but not as wide(top to bottom) as previous years. It looks weird as hell though.
