tell him to get a STi TMIC. More than sufficient plus not as much lag.,

 

yea vf22's are crap on a 2.5 block... they are nice little turbos. I think a FMIC wouldnt lag that much more than a topmount... specially on that size turbo

It can if your piping is too big or your turbo can't push enough wheeze to fill it.

I have a FMIC and a VF-22. I found that it actually spools faster, but that might have to do with the fact that I changed my intake, from an Australian brand, unifilter, to the Greddy Airnix kit. Now the piping in the Greddy kit, the hot side is really small, the cold side open from 2.5 at the intercooler to 3 on the top pipe.

 

I'll be happy to run any Scooby with a FMIC and show you how 'gay' TMIC's are

 

I love my TMIC setup, I just need to get my damn heat shield back on.
