Default Drift WRX

sorry if this is a repost but i just thought it was a pretty intresting article. in this months issue of super street. they had the first ever drift wrx which i thought was pretty cool. they only thing i didnt like was the fact that they changed it to rwd instead of keeping it awd but it would be kinda hard to drift with an awd drive car. but i thought it was pretty intresting and i wanted to know if anyone else read the article. what did yall think of it?

I read it. The car was pretty cool save for the fact that they converted it to rwd. IMO if you wanna drift get a car thats already rwd. Dont ruin a perfectly good WRX.

Yea I bet with all that money he spent converting it to RWD he could of had a drift STi running 11s.

yep, I bet they were really concerned when they were makeing it rwd drive that it may offend some wrx owners. What a waste of time and money.

Hey the guy asked what we thought of it and thats what I think. Its not like Im gonna write my senator to make a law against rwd WRXs. People can do what they want, but IMO its stupid to take awd away from a WRX.

i thought it has some really cool cutting edge stuff.

the radiator is in the very back of the car. with air vents on the sides. makes sense i guess, the car is always sideways it will get more air.

personally i think it is really cool that someone took the time to build that. as we all know working on subaru`s isnt cheap or easy

Did you read where they said they had to put the radiator in the back because they ran out of room under the hood? I guess the intercooler was placed where the radiator normally would be located.

I was more interested in the mechanical ingenuity that was put into the car. I am sure they were going for something different. How many more drift RX7's and such could there be.
