mobil 5w30 full synthetic. And by the way, the WRX holds 4.8 quarts of oil so you can use almost the entire 5qrt container from Wall-Mart

I spun two bearings on the WRX motor using Mobil 1. However I believe oil starvation caused the problem. WRX oil pans are not baffled like the STi.

Mine says 4.2 quarts.

Off topic but man I dig that wagon mantra...

I used nothing but Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic in my last car and never had a problem at 106k miles on the odometer so I don't have much negative to say about it but I may give Royal purple or Motul a shot.

Mastro has Motul for sale in store right? I need to snag an oil filter from there anyways so hopefully they do...
