Depends on what your goals are for the car. StiGuy has a good one for sale:

I have a HKS downpipe. No cats or fitment issues. I plan on long term adding an external wastegate. The HKS downpipe is perfect for that application. Bellmouth downpipes are a little more difficult to add external gates to due to space limitations.

If I could buy another downpipe, it would be the stromung downpipe with the divorced setup, its split so the wastegate has its own way to exhaust, supposedly it flows better, and thats everything in a turbo car

now if your going to go external wastegate like weverb, you wont need that, its your call.

Bellmouth or divorced wastegate are the most popular. You can find a ton for sale on Nasioc.com

YES they are difficult. My tial simply would not fit with my Injen DP. I heated it with a blowtorch and hit it many times with a mallet. It looks like shit, but it fits

BTW, Doug from Topspeed came over last night and fixed my turbo fitment issue with the ultimate racing uppipe and SZ49. Car has about another week to go.

are you planning on keeping your cats? IF not then there are a tone of options out there but if you want to keep some kind of smog control on there then you get limited. Invidia and Helix both make DP's with cats but other than that i couldnt tell ya.

No, that really donesnt make a difference to me about the cats. Im still new to the subaru world. i had a jetta vr6 before this so the turbo thing is quite new. Anyways, ive been lookin at the HKS one. What is the difference b/t that one and, just for instance, the helix? one has the bigh opening for the turbo and wastegate, while the HKS doesnt.

HKS is budget since it blocks off the wastegate exhaust. However, this is a perfect downpipe for those going with an external wastegate setup (pretty cheap too). 99% of Scooby owners only would need a bellmouth or divorced setup. I personally run a TurboXS bellmouth with a Stromung muffler
