How could throwing a rod be associated with being caused by a turbo back exhaust and air box
I could understand bigger turbo or injectors but tbe?

it doesnt matter, the tbe increased the horsepower so therefore they can say it caused the failure

Well I just want to take it to Subaru to make sure everything is ok. I dont want them to be like were not touching that because you have tbe and induction box.
