How much under $10K? I remember you were talking about it Sat night, but I couldnt remember what the heads were. Why do you recommend the S2?

well 2250 for the S2 kit. that is 1200 less than the S3 kit. only differance is the rod lenght.

3799.00 for the Cosworth heads
New US STi castings
- CNC ported
- Hand blended finish work
- 4 angle inlet valve job
- 3 angle and radiused exhaust valve job
- lappled valves
- 1mm oversize Stainless Steel intake valves (1800 degree max)
- 1 mm oversized Inconel Exhaust valves (2400 degrees max)
- Performance valve springs
- Titanium retainers
- Hardened Steel Spring platforms

- Intake path -15% Flow increase over stock
- Exhaust path - 31% Flow increase over stock

Just add your choice of performance cams and properly sized buckets and you are ready to go.

so for 6050 bucks all you need are some cams and a few other minor parts.
intall kit from Crawford, Comes with ARP Head Studs, OEM Head Gaskets, Oil Pump, Exhaust Gaskets, Intake Gaskets, One Step Colder Iridium Spark Plugs. All parts are brand new, never used.

soo you could have a awesome engine for under 10G`s

I voted for the S3L w/ Cams & Headwork and I've been a licensed rider for 16 years (and rode dirt bikes for 7 years before that.) Cars are a bad enough addiction, try not to add bikes to the fray too! When I moved to Florida and witnessed the way people drive here, I swore I would never own another bike again. Yet riding is still a hard mistress to forget about. Every so often, a new beast is unleashed and I call State Farm to see what the rates would be and then I remember all the family and friends (not to mention my own road rash and broken coxic bone, but thats another story) who have been lost or permanently injured due to riding accidents (regardless of fault).

If you havent had that happen to you, heres a simple question to consider....
Q: Do you know why Java limps?
A: Because he's lucky.

I'm sure he'll tell you the same thing. So do you feel lucky? Remember...sometimes you only get one shot.[/Debbie Downer]

if not the crawford go for a cobb block. they have a 2.0, 2.2, and a 2.5 all vary in price but i think the 2.5 is the same price if not cheaper and i think the specs are right around the same www.cobbtuning.com check it out.

well since there is no such thing as a cobb block...

i have seen 2 blown cobb blocks with under 3,000 miles on them. with professinal install and tune.

crawford is known to be some what of top of the line. if you are going to spend the time and money on doing somehting like a new block. things like cutting corners really cant be in your mind....

things that say cobb go boom.

I remember a thread about a month ago about people "SLANDERING" products/companies in the subaru industry. I wonder how many of the "cobb blocks" don't go boom. HMMMMMMM?
